GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany holds a 6-11 record on the year and is 1-2 in conference.
- The Great Danes started their season with a three-set sweep over Syracuse (Aug. 25).
- Following the win, UAlbany played close sets against Navy (Aug. 26) and UCF (Aug. 27) to close the UAlbany Invitational.
- The Great Danes moved to 1-5 after three losses at the Chippewa Invitational (Sept. 1-2) before adding one win, over Cornell (Sept. 9), and two losses at the Ellis Rowland Memorial Tournament.
- UAlbany earned their third win in a four-set victory over George Mason (Sept.15) at the Patriot Invite.
- The Great Danes won back-to-back matches defeating Siena (Sept. 20) and Sacred Heart (Sept. 27) before beginning conference play.
- After falling to NJIT (Oct. 1) and Bryant (Oct. 6), the Great Danes earned their first conference victory defeating UMBC (Oct. 8) in five sets.
- Shynelle Woroniuk leads the team with 3.04 kills per set and 3.37 points per set.
- On defense, Sthefany Carvalho holds the team-high with 3.24 digs per set.
- Senior Elisavet Papageorgiou leads the Great Danes with 17 service aces.
- Gabriella Karman has recorded 47 blocks this season (0.96/set), with 10 solo blocks, while sophomore Tori Wilson trails with 33, including five solo.
- The team's primary setter, Zosia Szczotkiewicz leads with 363 assists in 51 sets (8.85/set).

- The UAlbany coaching staff is constantly at work to represent different cultures and countries on their roster each year.
- The 2023 roster traveled a total of 32,597 miles from their homes to UAlbany.

- The Bearcats possess a 10-8 record and are 3-0 in conference play.
- Binghamton won their first three matches at the Bearcat Classic defeating Merrimack (Aug. 25), Duquesne (Aug. 26), and Saint Peter's (Aug. 26).
- The Bearcats were held winless at the Buffalo Invite falling to Montana (Aug. 31), DePaul (Sept. 1), and Buffalo (Sept. 2).
- Defeating Le Moyne (Sept. 5), Binghamton won its first midweek match.
- At the Lehigh Classic, the Bearcats won their first two matches against Fairleigh Dickinson (Sept. 8) and Lehigh (Sept. 9) before losing to Delaware State (Sept. 9).

- Winning in five sets on October 21, the Great Danes fell in three in Vestal (Nov. 6).
- Returning student-athlete Anna Myhal tallied 20 kills and six digs in the UAlbany victory.

- UMBC trails having recorded two conference wins and one loss.
