How it Happened:
- UNH took a 9-6 lead into the first media TO. Jonathan Beagle led the way for the Great Danes with four points, making himself a force early in the paint. UNH's Clarence Daniels led all players with five points to start.
- The Wildcats increased the lead to seven points, 13-6, before freshman Marcus Jackson rattled off seven-straight points for the Great Danes. UNH took a 17-13 lead into the U12 TO.
- UNH increased the lead to 28-20 at the U8 media TO. Following the previous TO, UNH's Matt Herasme scored eight of the team's next 11 points.
- UNH took its first double-digit lead with under two minutes remaining, 38-27.
- The Wildcats would maintain their double-digit lead heading into the locker room, the scoreboard reading 40-29.
- Jackson led the Great Danes in the first half with 11 points on 4-6 shooting, four rebounds, and an assist. UNH's Herasme led all players with 15 first half points.
- UAlbany shot 44.4% (12-27) from the field and went just 1-7 from three in the first half UNH shot 50.0% (14-28) from the field and went 4-12 from downtown.
- UNH hit a quick jumper and a layup to open the second half, forcing Coach Killings to call TO after the first minute of play.
