Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team dropped its second game of the weekend to Maine, falling 7-5. Cregg Scherrer started the game for the Great Danes and totaled nine strikeouts. Will Binder hit a solo homerun early on, but Maine's offense came alive late to take the lead and hold it foe the rest of the game.

Head Coach Jon Mueller: "Cregg Scherrer gave us all he had on a hot day.  We had a few defensive miscues which opened up a five-run inning. The offense came alive late, but we came up a bit short. Still have a chance to salvage the Sunday game tomorrow."
