Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team got out to a 4-0 lead early on against the No. 16 ranked Georgia Bulldogs, but couldn't hang on – giving up a 6-4 lead late in the game.
Brad Malm shined for the Great Danes, blasting two home runs for four RBIs.
Coach Jon Mueller: "We played great defensively and that started with the performance by Germinerio. We battled 'til the end but we were unable to seal the deal. They are 16th in the country for a reason. Tip your cap to Georgia, they did just enough to get it done."

How it Happened:
- Anthony Germinerio started on the mound for UAlbany, Liam Sullivan started for Georgia.
- UAlbany got on the board first in the third inning with a Carson Dunkel solo shot to right.
- Brad Malm increased the lead to 3-0 that same inning with a two-run blast to center, scoring Feil. The HR was Malm's second in two days.
- Midway through the third, Georgia pulled Sullivan for Will Pearson.
- Third inning scoring didn't stop though, as the Great Danes pushed the score to 4-0 on a groundout to short from Michael Whalen, scoring John Daly.
- Georgia's Connor Tate homered in the fourth to make the score 4-1 in favor of UAlbany.
- Collin Caldwell replaced Pearson on the mound for Georgia to start the sixth.
- Georgia made the score 4-2 in the sixth off of a double from Corey Collins, scoring Connor Tate.
- Rob Manetta started the seventh inning for UAlbany in place of Germinerio.
- The Bulldogs tied the game in the seventh off of a two-run home run from Parks Harber, scoring Ben Anderson.
- Nolan Crisp came into the game to start the eighth for Georgia.
- Malm hit his second HR of the day in the eight during a crucial point, putting the Great Danes ahead 6-4, scoring Will Feil.
- Georgia's Cole Tate hit a solo HR in the bottom of the eight to cut the lead to one run.
- Connor Eisenmann replaced Manetta midway through the eighth for UAlbany.
- Later in the inning, Georgia's Rogers flied out to center, scoring Floyd and tying the game at six.
- Luke Wagner came into the game in the ninth inning for Georgia.
- Georgia won the game on a walk-off single to left from Cole Tate in the bottom of the ninth, scoring Connor Tate.
