Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team dropped the final game of a tough series, 9-1, to the 16
th ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.
Coach Jon Mueller: "Today we struggled to find the zone. Defensively, we were solid all weekend. Offensively, Georgia did a nice job of keeping us at bay. Overall, a great effort by the team throughout the weekend against a very good SEC program. We will continue to progress and look forward to next weekend."

- Kyle McCaffrey replaced Scherrer midway through the third inning for the Great Danes.
- In the top of the fifth, Brad Malm hit a sac fly to center to score Will Binder, getting the Great Danes on the board.
- In the bottom half of the inning, Georgia's Wagner hit a solo shot to center field to increase the lead to 4-1.
- Later in the inning, Georgia's Acton doubled to center field, scoring Jernigan and Gonzalez, making the score 6-1.
- Nicholas Jessen Replaced McCaffrey on the mound with two outs in the fifth.
- Davis Rokose took the mound for Georgia in the sixth.
