GREAT DANE REWIND
- Most recently, UAlbany defeated Cornell, 3-1, to close its home tournament - the Crowne Plaza Albany - The Desmond Hotel Volleyball Classic - on September 4.
- The Great Danes opened their season with a 1-2 record at the Syracuse Tournament (Aug. 27-28), defeating UB (Aug. 28), 3-0, for their first win of the season, before beating Marist, 3-1, on Tuesday (Aug. 31).
- Five student-athletes, including three freshmen, have seen all 27 sets on the season - junior Kamara Kelly, senior Charlotte Macken, freshman Elaina Wamhoff, freshman Lilou Stegeman, and freshman Anissia Wong.
- Kelly leads the offense with 60 kills and 73.5 points while senior Regan Wright owns a team-high 2.27 kills per set.
- On the serve, Wright leads the team with nine aces.
- Junior Malea Stanton and Wamhoff share the setter's spotlight. Stanton leads the two with 125 assists and 4.81 assists per set with Wamhoff following closely with 114 assists and 4.22 assists per set.
- Defensively, Macken has completed 111 digs for 4.11 digs per set. She was named the America East Defensive Specialist of the Week after her performance at the Crowne Plaza Albany - The Desmond Hotel Volleyball Classic.
- Wong leads the blockers with 34.0 total blocks, including three solo blocks, and 1.26 blocks/set.
ABOUT UT - SAN ANTONIO
- The Roadrunners opened the season with a 3-1 win over Sam Houston (Aug. 21).
- UTSA continued with two losses at Texas against No. 20 San Diego (Aug. 28) and No. 1 Texas (Aug. 29).
- Last weekend (Sept. 3-4), the Roadrunners went 1-2 at the Ole Miss Invitational, finding a win over Northwestern State but falling to Ole Miss and Coastal Carolina.
- In its most recent contest, UTSA beat UIW in a five-set match (Sept. 7).
- Hannah Lopez leads the team on the attack with 55 kills and 2.62 kills/set.
- Running a two-setter split, Courtney Walters leads with 95 assists and 4.32 assists/set while Mekaila Aupiu closely follows with 83 assists and 4.15 assists/set. Walters also leads the team with 13 aces.
- On defense, Amanda Ifeanyi owns 22 blocks, including the only solo block on the squad, and Mia Ybarra has 74 digs and 3.52 digs/set.

- This will be the first meeting of the Great Danes and the Roadrunners.
ABOUT TEXAS A&M
- The Aggies are 3-2 on the season.
- Texas A&M opened its season in Hawaii earning a win over Fairfield, 3-0, but falling to Marquette and Hawaii at the Hawaiian Airline Rainbow Wahine Classic (Aug. 27-28).
- Making their way to three wins, the Aggies defeated Cal Poly (Sept. 1) on the road before hosting Corpus Christi for a 3-0 sweep (Sept. 6).
- Leading the offense with 56 kills, 3.5 kills/set, Lauren Davis also holds a team-high 61.0 points.
- Camille Conner has tallied 9.53 assists/set with 181 total assists.
- Macy Carrabine leads the defense with 86 digs and 4.53 digs/set while Mallory Talbert leads the blockers with 22.0 total blocks and three solo blocks.

ABOUT HOUSTON
- The Cougars opened their season at the Oklahoma Invitational with three wins against Lipscomb, Oregon State, and Oklahoma (Aug. 27-28).
- Continuing its win streak, Houston earned three more wins at its home tournament, the Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup (Sept. 3-4). The Cougars took on Mississippi State, McNeese, and Louisiana Monroe.
- Abbie Jackson leads on offense with 89 kills, 3.42 per set, while Kate Georgiades leads the defense with 117 digs, 4.5 per set.
- Rachel Tullos leads the Cougar blockers with 34, including a team-high seven solo blocks.
- Annie Cook has set up 265 kills and Georgiades has a team-high 10 service aces.
SERIES AGAINST THE COUGARS
- This will be the first meeting against the Cougars.
AROUND THE AMERICA EAST
- With two weekends of play under their belts, the Great Danes are second in the conference behind only New Hampshire.
- Stony Brook follows in third with two wins and NJIT in fourth with one. Binghamton, Hartford, and UMBC round out the conference.

WHAT'S UP, PRESEASON
