Cristian Campagna earned an America East All-Rookie selection and midfielder
Haflidi Sigurdarson earned All-Academic Team honors, the conference announced Wednesday.

Campagna, a native of British Columbia, Canada, earned his All-Rookie selection after appearing in and starting all-nine games. He also added four shots, three of them on goal, including a career-high two against UMBC.Â

The freshman was a mainstay on the UAlbany defense and assisted the team to five games with one or fewer goals against in the nine-game season. Â

Sigurdarson earned a spot on the All-Academic Team with his 3.60 GPA studying Business Administration. The selection is Sigurdarson's second America East yearly award, his first coming in 2018 as a member of the All-Rookie Team.

The Reykjavik, Iceland native ranked tied-second on the team with two goals and third with four points during the 2020-21 season. He added 10 shots on goal, five on net, and appeared in all-nine games with eight starts.Â

The Great Danes ended their season with a 2-1 victory over Hartford on April 9 and finished the season winning three of their last four games.Â
