Short Story: Volleyball clinches a spot in the America East Championship Match on April 2 after winning three-of-four games against Hartford and Stony Brook.
 
Coach Josh Pickard: "This is the toughest weekend we face, playing four games in two days, and to come out 3-1, I'm happy with that. We're looking forward to moving on in the conference and we get a week to rest, relax and train. We're thankful to be able to play and keep going, and it's great to know we will have at least one more match after next weekend after clinching the America East Championship match."

  • In the first set, UAlbany trailed 21-19 before they scored six-straight points to win 25-19.
  • Down 7-1 early in the second set, UAlbany stormed back and eventually won the set 25-21.
  • In the third set, Hartford led 10-7 before UAlbany went on an 11-1 run and won the set 25-17.
  • Charlotte Macken (15) Kamara Kelly (12) and Regan Wright (10) all had double-digit assists.

  • UAlbany led the first set 10-4 early and kept that lead until Stony Brook took a late 24-23 lead. With the game tied at 25, Stony Brook pulled away to win 27-25.
  • The Seawolves never trailed in the second set as they won 25-20. UAlbany came within one point on three separate occasions and never tied the game.
  • In a back-and-forth third set, UAlbany came back multiple times, and took leads, but Stony Brook ultimately won 25-23. With their 3-0 sweep of UAlbany, the Seawolves handed the Great Danes their first loss in conference play.
  • Malea Stanton recorded 22 assists and Andersen Vaughan added 14. 
  • Only Kamara Kelly (11) and Danielle Tedesco (10) recorded double-digit kills for the Great Danes. 
  • Stony Brook's Torri Henry recorded a match-high 42 assists and Enitan Omolewa added 14 kills. 
  • The Seawolves had four players with double-digit digs and the Great Danes had three.
