Masks will be required inside all buildings on campus.
TOYS 4 TOTS
On Wednesday, December 1, UAlbany Athletics will partner with the Capital Region Toys 4 Tots organization with a collection drive during the women's game against Bryant. A representative will collect toy donations in SEFCU Arena on Wednesday. Fans are encouraged to bring toys to donate to the organization, and those who bring a toy to the box office can receive a 'Buy One, Get One FREE' ticket offer for White Level seating during Wednesday night's game.
The Capital Region Toys 4 Tots campaign covers 15 counties around the Capital Region and serves over 200,000 children in need each year, and previously has been recognized as the best Toys 4 Tots campaign in the nation.

GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany opened the season with a 29-point victory over Hofstra (11/10), beating the Pride for the first time in program history.
- Most recently, the Great Danes closed a three-game road streak with a loss at Boston College (11/28) after falling from a buzzer-beating three-pointer at Cornell (11/24) and a loss at Merrimack (11/16).
- Junior Helene Haegerstrand leads the team with 47 points (11.8 per game), shooting a team-high 50% (9-18) from outside the arc.
- Senior Lucia Decortes holds team-highs in both offense and defense. Her 22 rebounds (5.5 per game), 13 offensive, lead the team. On offense, Decortes leads shooting 66.7% from the field.
- Redshirt-sophomore has a team-high 19 defensive rebounds.
- Freshman Lilly Phillips (13 assists) and senior Ellen Hahne (8 steals) lead the team with their respective stats.
- Decortes and Haegerstrand have tallied three blocks while sophomore Kayla Cooper and Hahne have totaled two and redshirt-sophomore Abby Robinson has one on the season.
- Every single player from the 13-person roster saw action and contributed with a point or an assist in the season-opening game.
- Of the 233 points scored in four games, the bench has tallied 85 points. This includes half (26) of the 52 points scored at Merrimack.
- As a team, UAlbany is hitting 39.9% from the field, 36.3% outside the arc, and 56.4% from the free-throw line. The Great Danes are averaging 58.25 points per game, 38.5 rebounds per game, and 13.5 assists per game.
ABOUT BRYANT
- The Bulldogs are 1-6 on the season.
- Bryant opened the season with five straight losses - Iona (11/9), UMass Lowell (11/13), Brown (11/16), Michigan State (11/19), and Notre Dame (11/21).
- After finding their first victory over Fisher (11/24), the Bulldogs fell to Holy Cross (11/28).
- Brooke Bjelko leads the team with 12.7 points per game. Alana Perkins follows closely behind with 12.6 points per game.
- Mariona Planes Fortuny is shooting 56.4% to lead the team in the field while Nicole Gallagher (38.2%) leads from outside the arc.
- Bjelko also leads with 55 rebounds, including team-highs in both offensive (29) and defensive (26) rebounds.
- Jallow Fatou has tallied 25 assists, Perkins owns a team-high 12 steals, and Fortuny has the team-high with nine blocks.
- As a team, Bryant is hitting 40.2% from the field, 34.7% outside the arc, and 66.3% from the free-throw line. The Bulldogs are averaging 61.6 points per game, 37.6 rebounds per game, and 14.9 assists per game.
SERIES AGAINST THE BULLDOGS
- The first meeting between Bryant and UAlbany was in 2019-20 in Rhode Island.
- The Bulldogs took a 13-point victory at their home court.
- Of those still on the team, Helene Haegerstrand started totaling four points and seven rebounds while Lucia Decortes and Taniya Hanner also saw time.
AROUND THE AMERICA EAST
- Stony Brook leads the conference with seven wins; the Seawolves are the only undefeated team in the America East.
- Binghamton and New Hampshire follow with 3-2 records each.
- NJIT rounds out the top four with four wins and three losses.
- UMass Lowell (5), Vermont (6), and Maine (7) have each compiled two wins out of their respective game totals.
- UAlbany (1-3) and UMBC (1-4) each have one win.

WHAT'S UP, PRESEASON
- The Great Dane women's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the conference in the preseason coaches' poll. With six first-place votes and 78 total points, Stony Brook was voted to finish first with Maine just behind (74 points, three first-place votes).
- UAlbany added four new players to the roster for the 2021-22 season - Koi Sims, Lilly Phillips, Abby Ray, and Freja Werth

- UAlbany has expanded its partnership with ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team and City Line Bar & Grill.
- Coaches Colleen Mullen and Dwayne Killings, along with select student-athletes, will join ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team's Charlie Voelker and Dan Bahl every Monday from 6-7 pm live from City Line Bar & Grill for a weekly segment entitled 'Drive the Lane with UAlbany Hoops'.
- Fans are invited to come out to City Line Bar & Grill to join Coach Mullen, Coach Kills, the student-athletes, and the ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team crew.
- Food and drink specials will be available on a weekly basis as the teams embark on their new seasons and talk hoops every Monday.
