Short Story: The UAlbany volleyball team was defeated by Kansas in three sets in its opener at the UCF Challenge on Friday.
Coach Pickard: “The team came out a bit slow but once we calmed down I thought we were right in it. Kansas is a solid team and I thought our players pushed them. We showed some physicality at the net that helped us immensely. I've told the team we need to make new mistakes and learn from them and I thought we did that tonight.”
