Short Story: After dropping its first match of the Towson Invitational against Coastal Carolina 3-1, the UAlbany volleyball team picked up its second win of 2019 in a three set win against Youngstown State.
Coach Pickard: “We came out a bit flat this morning and struggled against a tough Coastal Carolina team. Their offense was clicking and we didn't answer. Before the afternoon match we talked about doing a few things to get better and focusing on our side of the net. I'm proud of how the team came out and was aggressive both from the service line and on our defense. We are still working out some kinks but played a lot better in the second match. Looking forward to playing the hosts tomorrow.”
