Coach Pickard: “Excited for the team and how they performed tonight. We had an excellent match from both of our right sides, Akua and Emma. They steadied us both offensively and defensively. We have a quick turnaround and have to get back on the court.”
Akuabata Okenwa: “We played as a team and everyone gave their full effort on the court. I'm really proud of how we played and executed the game plan. I loved how intense our energy was all night but we are not done yet. We are not satisfied and we are hungry for another win. Tomorrow we will bring the same energy and intensity!”
Emma Schlagheck: “Today was a great team win with an all out effort and energy from everyone involved. We've worked very hard this season, but it all comes down to one game and luckily we are hitting our peak as a team at just the right time. Hartford will make for a competitive match, but our coaching staff has prepared us mentally and physically to come out on top.”
