Short Story: The University at Albany volleyball team celebrated Senior Day in style, taking down rival Stony Brook in four sets, clinching at least a share of the America East regular season title and the top seed in the tournament.

Coach Pickard: “Very proud of the team tonight, especially our seniors. We had a number of players step up and have a big day. We put up a tremendous block and then played defense around it. Akua, Chloe and Courtney have had exceptional careers and the team wanted to get a win for them tonight on Senior Day.”

• Akuabata Okenwa led the way with 12 kills and nine block assists.
• Chloe Evering tallied 11 kills.
• Kamara Kelly notched eight kills and four block assists.
• Danielle Tedesco recorded two solo blocks and nine block assists.
