Short Story: The University at Albany volleyball team secured its ninth straight win and fourth straight sweep with a victory over UMBC in its annual "Dig Pink" match.

Coach Pickard: “Proud of how the team battled. It was a great start to the second half of the America East Conference schedule. It was great to see the team support each other and work hard to get the win. UMBC played a good match and made our team adjust in a lot of areas.”

• Akuabata Okenwa and Danielle Tedesco led the way with 10 kills apiece.
• Tedesco also notched four blocks and three aces.
• Chloe Evering tallied nine kills and two blocks.
• Noa Brach had seven kills and three blocks.
• Malea Stanton recorded 19 assists and Andersen Vaughan had 17 assists.
