Recap: Behind 14 kills from juniors Chloe Evering and Akuabata Okenwa, the second-seeded UAlbany volleyball team rolled past No.3 New Hampshire, 3-0, in the America East Semifinals on Friday evening at Pritchard Gym.

With the win, the Great Danes improve to 18-9 all-time in the conference tournament and will make the program's 13th appearance in the title match.

New Hampshire took an 7-2 lead in the opening set before a block by Danielle Tedesco knotted the score, 14-14. Okenwa followed the play with her third kill of the match as the home team earned its first lead of the game at 15-14. The set ended on a 5-2 run in favor of the Great Danes who solidified the 25-22 win.

The Great Danes led for the entirety of set two, as their offense proved to be too much for the Wildcats to handle. Evering and Okenwa chipped in with four kills apiece, while All-Rookie Team selection Grace Cozad picked up three kills of her own.

UAlbany and New Hampshire traded points early, but it was the Great Danes who led 8-4, forcing the Wildcats to call a timeout early on. New Hampshire cut the deficit to three, 22-19, late in the match but a pair of kills by Evering and a block by Courtney O'Connell fueled a 3-1 run that ended the set and completed the sweep.
