BINGHAMTON TOPS UALBANY, 3-0, IN AMERICA
EAST CONFERENCE PLAY

N.Y. ? Cameron Keith scored a goal and dished out an assist to lead Binghamton
to a 3-0 win over visiting UAlbany in America East Conference men's soccer
action at the Bearcats Sports Complex
on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Keith, the reigning conference
player of the week, took a feed into the middle of the penalty box from Kyle
Kucharski and deposited a shot into the goal. Just over four minutes later,
Barry Neville converted a penalty kick to give the Bearcats a two goal lead.
The teams played a scoreless final 25 minutes of the first half to go into
intermission with Binghamton
leading 2-0.
UAlbany and Binghamton played the first 43 and a half
minutes of the second half without a goal until Scott Zobre tallied in the 89th
minute off a feed from Keith.
Binghamton outshot the Great Danes 15-6 in
the contest, including 9-3 in the first half. Junior Gaby Seguin-Gauthier paced
UAlbany with two shots. The Bearcats also held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Junior goalkeeper Steward Ceus registered three saves in goal, while Jason
Stenta recorded three saves for Binghamton
(12-4, AE 4-2).
UAlbany (2-10-3, AE 1-3-2) returns
home for two games against conference opponents to wrap-up the regular season.
The Great Danes face Maine on Wednesday, Oct.
31 and Hartford
on Sunday, Nov. 4.
