Melissa Peach joined UAlbany Athletics in January 2016 and now serves as the senior associate athletic director for compliance.
As senior associate athletic director for compliance, Peach serves as a member of the department's leadership team and has sport supervisory responsibilities for women's golf. She oversees all facets of compliance as it relates to NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations for UAlbany’s 19 Division I sports, and manages the department's policies and procedures.
Peach came to UAlbany from Siena College, where she served as the department’s Interim Compliance Coordinator before being hired full-time in that role in February 2013. She was a recipient of the 2013 NAAC Convention Stipend and is currently an active member of the NAAC Marketing and Communications Committee as well as Women Leaders in Sports. Peach has served as a leadership panelist for the TopConnect NJCAA Symposium held for women’s basketball coaches, and has presented at the NAAC Convention. Previously, Peach served on the NAAC Membership and Awards Committee from 2013-14 through 2020-21.
Prior to Siena, Peach worked in the K-12 school setting and coached middle and high school sports teams.
Peach graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Brockport in 2007 majoring in Physical Education. She earned her Master's Degree in Athletic Administration/Sports Management in 2009 from Indiana University, where she was employed as an assistant for the athletic director and senior administration.
