Following her one season as a player at the University at Albany in 2023, Shonly Wallace returned to the team on the sidelines as a member of the coaching staff.
Wallace scored 51 goals and added five assists for a total of 56 points in her lone season as a Great Dane, bolstering UAlbany's offense alongside Katie Pascale, Sarah Falk, and Bryar Hogg, each of whom recorded more than 50 points during the 2023 season. Wallace appeared and started in 18 of UAlbany's 20 games in 2023, including both games in the NCAA Tournament, the upset of #12 Virginia and the Second Round matchup at #5 Denver.
Before arriving at UAlbany, Wallace played three seasons at the University of Oregon, where she led the Ducks in scoring in 2022 with 40 goals. In 36 total games at Oregon, Wallace scored 65 goals and recorded 16 assists, earning Pac-12 All-Tournament honors in 2022.
Wallace began her collegiate career at Stony Brook, winning the America East title with the Seawolves in the 2019 season. Wallace, a 2018 Under Armour All-American, has also made multiple appearances for the Canadian National Team, including winning a silver medal at the U-19 World Cup.
