High School
DeGraw was a five-year letter-earner at Union Springs High School where he served as team captain his senior year. He earned the title of MVP during the 2014, 2015, and 2016 seasons. He won the N.Y. State 600m during the indoor track season.

Personal
Bernard Evan DeGraw is the son of Bernie and Lori DeGraw. He has one sister, Leah.
