High School
Beckford was a four-year letter-winner in track and field at DeWitt Clinton. As a senior Beckford was
PSAL City Champion in the 110 hurdles. That year also saw him earn third in the 55 hurdles and second in the 4x4 at the
Millrose Games. His 4x4 placed second at New York State Championships. He was named to the 2012
PSAL All-City team for the 110 hurdles, and is a two-time bronze medalist in the 55 hurdles at City Championships.
