High School: Played four years of baseball at Fairfield Prep … Batted .375 as a senior and earned all-area and all-league honors … Served as team captain his senior season and was named the squad’s MVP … Was the starting first baseman for the Jesuits as a junior and helped lead them to the Class LL State semifinals for the first time in 20 years …  Earned All-SCC Quinnipiac Division and New Haven Register All-Area Team honors … Selected to play in the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Junior All-Star Game.
