October 7
Female – Kasia Barletta, Volleyball Hometown: Clifton Park, N.Y. Kasia Barletta earned Athlete of the Week honors after recording 41 digs across two matches for an average of 5.86 digs per set against NJIT and New Hampshire. Barletta matched a career-high 25 digs in UAlbany's four-set victory over NJIT on Oct. 2 before adding 16 digs against New Hampshire.
Male – Shawan Lewis, Football
Hometown: Baltimore, M.D.
Shawan Lewis earned Athlete of the Week honors after recording two sacks for 18 yards and an interception in UAlbany's Homecoming victory over Delaware State on Oct. 3. Lewis' performance helped the Great Danes' defense hold the Hornets to three points in the 28-3 victory.

September 30

Female – Women's Collegiate 4+ | UAlbany A, Women's Rowing Crew: Gabriella DiOrio (cox), Allison LaBuff (4), Cate Rochow (3), Sam Staubach (2), Julia Veal (1) The UAlbany A Women's Collegiate 4+ took first place in the 14-boat field at the Mohawk Fall Classic on Sept. 27, finishing in 14:30.91. The Great Danes' A boat led a UAlbany sweep of the top three spots in the event.
Female – Lauren Villasin, Women's Soccer Hometown: West Orange, N.J. Lauren Villasin earned Athlete of the Week honors after scoring her first collegiate goal in UAlbany's 2-0 victory over NJIT on Sept. 27. Villasin's 22nd-minute goal from nearly 30 yards out proved to be the match-winner and helped the Great Danes earn their first America East win of the season.

September 23

Female – Madison Kuratani, Women's Golf
Hometown: Kailua, Hawaii
Madison Kuratani earned Athlete of the Week honors after winning the Crosstown Challenge against Siena at Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland, N.Y. on Sept. 18 after shooting even-par (71).
Male – Rodrigo Hermelo, Men's Soccer
Hometown: Guadalajara, Spain
Rodrigo Hermelo earned Athlete of the Week honors after being a consistent presence on the backline all season, while playing a full 90' in UAlbany's 1-0 clean sheet against Central Connecticut on Sept. 20. 

September 16

Female – Pinar Erol, Volleyball
Hometown: Istanbul, Turkey
Pinar Erol earned Athlete of the Week honors after recording 57 kills across three matches at the Ellis Rowland Memorial Tournament hosted by Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y.. Erol posted 22 kills against Dartmouth on Sept. 11, followed by 19 kills and 17 digs against Colgate and 16 kills in UAlbany's five-set victory over Northeastern.
Male – BJ Norman, Football
Hometown: Roosevelt, N.Y.
BJ Norman earned Athlete of the Week honors after catching a 20-yard touchdown pass in UAlbany's 35-13 victory over LIU on Sept. 12. Norman finished with 45 receiving yards and a touchdown, the first of his career, helping the Great Danes improve to 2-1 overall.

September 9
Female – Sydney Kofton, Women's soccer
Hometown: Norton, Mass.
Sydney Kofton scored twice on four shots, including three on goal, in UAlbany's 2-1 victory over Le Moyne on Sept. 6. Kofton converted two of her three shots on target to account for all of the Great Danes' goals in the victory.
Male – Alexander Genz, Men's Soccer
Hometown: Lower Saxony, Germany
Alexander Genz played all 90 minutes and recorded his second consecutive clean sheet in UAlbany's 1-0 victory over Dartmouth, making one save. His crucial stop in the 84th minute helped preserve the shutout and secure UAlbany's second straight victory.

September 2
Female – Campbell Robinson, Volleyball
Hometown: Loveland, Ohio
Campbell Robinson of volleyball earns Athlete of the Week honors after posting a .360 hitting percentage with 23 kills and 11 total blocks against Iowa, Sacred Heart and Army West Point at the Black Knight Invitational.
Male – Joey Koch, Football
Hometown: Mahopac, N.Y.
Joey Koch earned Athlete of the Week honors after rushing for 144 yards and a touchdown on seven carries, including a 79-yard run, against New Hampshire.
