Dylan Banner to earn a 7-2 win over UMass Lowell on Friday evening.

Dylan Banner put us on his back and was dominant in a complete game effort. We need to continue to work on our defense. The offense was solid today and extended to keep the pressure on. Looking forward to the rubber game tomorrow."

How it Happened:
- UAlbany jumped on the board immediately in the first inning. Zach Mravlja and Brian Guerrero reached to start the frame before Levi McAllister drove in two with a single to left. Jaxon Mueller followed with an RBI single to make it 3-0 early.
- The Great Danes added to the lead in the third inning. After Guerrero reached and DeSarno got on, McAllister delivered again with a two-RBI double, advancing to third on the throw. Mueller followed with an RBI double down the left field line to extend the lead to 6-0.
- UMass Lowell got on the board in the fourth inning with an RBI double from Scott Donahue to make it 6-1.
- The River Hawks added another in the sixth inning when Donahue came around to score on a wild pitch, trimming the lead to 6-2.
- UAlbany answered in the eighth inning. Cooper Loyal worked a walk and moved into scoring position before Brian Guerrero delivered an RBI single to push the lead to 7-2.
- Dylan Banner was dominant on the mound, going the distance and allowing just two runs while striking out six to secure the win for the Great Danes.
