- UAlbany got on the board first in the top of the first when Levi McAllister roped a double into left center and drove in Michael Maggio from third to make it 1-0 early.
- Marist took the lead with a trio of runs in the top of the third to make it 3-1.
- The Red Foxes tacked on another in the top of the fourth to make it 4-1 halfway through the game.
- Marist added another run in the top of the sixth to push the scorer to 5-1.
- The Red Foxes added three more in the top of the eight on a three-run home run to make it 8-1.
- After loading the bases with no outs, Jaxon Mueller doubled to score a pair of runs, Patrick DeSarno picked up an RBI on a single, and Mueller scored on a double play to cut the lead down to 8-5.
- Marist scored a pair in the top of the ninth to push its lead out to 10-5.
- UAlbany was unable to score in the bottom of the ninth, and Marist walked away with a 10-5 win.
