Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team dropped both games of Saturday's doubleheader, falling 10-9 in a back-and-forth opener before Siena used a big inning to take game two, 10-4.

Game One How it Happened:
- Siena struck first in the opening inning, but UAlbany responded immediately with RBI singles from Patrick DeSarno and Jaxon Mueller to take a 2-1 lead.
- The Great Danes added on in the second inning when John Vitucci drove in a run to make it 3-1.
- After the Saints tied the game in the third, UAlbany answered again in the bottom half with a two-RBI single from Brian Guerrero to regain the lead at 5-2.
- Dylan Banner started on the mound before Brian Cadieux entered in relief in the fifth inning.
- Siena surged ahead in the fourth with a five-run inning to take a 7-5 advantage.
- UAlbany responded with a four-run fifth inning, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Michael Maggio, to reclaim the lead at 9-7.
- The Saints answered in the sixth inning with three runs to take a 10-9 lead.
- The Great Danes were unable to push across the tying run over the final two innings as Siena held on to take game one.

- Siena opened the scoring in the third inning on an RBI groundout before adding another run in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead.
- Ethan Nardacci got the start and worked into the fifth inning before Tyler Kneller entered in relief.
- Siena broke the game open in the seventh inning. After a leadoff baserunner reached, Kneller was lifted for Jameson Walsh, but the Saints strung together multiple hits and scored seven runs to extend the lead to 9-0.
- UAlbany responded in the bottom of the inning with a pair of runs on sacrifice flies from Luke Filippi and Cooper Loyal to make it 9-2.
- Siena added another run in the ninth on a sacrifice fly to push the lead to 10-2.
- The Great Danes showed late fight in the bottom of the ninth when Filippi delivered a two-RBI double to bring the final score to 10-4.
