How it Happened:
- CCSU struck first in the top of the first when Louis Jordan hit a two-run homer to right to make it 2-0 early.
- UAlbany answered back with a four-spot in the bottom of the frame, which included an RBI single for Levi McAllister, a pair of runs on a throwing error, and saw ther Great Danes bat around to make it 4-2 after one.
- The Blue Devils cut into the lead in the top of the third with a solo home run to cut the lead to 4-3.
- Victor Mazzara extended the lead when he hit an inside-the-park home run when two outfielders collided, allowing him to score and make it 5-3 in the bottom of the fourth.
- CCSU retook the lead with a three-run inning in the top of the fifth to make it 6-5 halfway through the ballgame.
- The Great Danes tied it up in the bottom of the seventh when a Brian Guerrero bloop into right scored Jaxon Mueller to make it 6-6.
- After loading the bases with one out in the bottom of the ninth, a grounder by Kyle Stephens and a throwing error allowed Mueller to score and walk it off for UAlbany, by a score of 7-6.
