How it Happened:
- The Great Danes struck first in the second inning. Luke Filippi doubled and moved to third before scoring on a wild pitch to give UAlbany a 1-0 lead.
- St. John's responded with a three-run bottom of the second, using two RBI groundouts and a passed ball to take a 3-1 advantage.
- The Red Storm extended their lead in the third with a solo home run from Will Cowan to make it 4-1.
- UAlbany answered in the fourth. Levi McAllister singled and Luke Filippi reached before Logan Morris launched a three-run home run to tie the game at 4-4.
