Smith was stellar in net once again for the Great Danes, making 13 saves for a .650 save percentage in Saturday's win over UMass Lowell. The defense as a whole held the River Hawks to just seven goals on the day. It was the third consecutive game that Smith held a save percentage above .600, and the third consecutive game the UAlbany defense held their opponents to seven goals or less. In America East play, Smith now leads the conference with a 6.67 goals against average and a .643 save percentage.

The team returns home this Saturday, April 4, with a 2:00 p.m. matchup against Binghamton from Tom & Mary Casey Stadium. The matchup is the first of a three-game homestand, with Vermont coming to town on Aprill 11 and Siena visiting on April 14.
