HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bryant retired the Great Danes first three batters before they scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning to jump ahead of UAlbany early.
- In the top of the second, Taylor Quinn scored off a single from sophomore Vanessa Meyers to put the Great Danes on the board.
- The UAlbany defense went three up, three down in the bottom of the second.
- Freshman Julia Pike made her way on base with a double before Katie Parisi brought her home with a single up the middle.
- Quinn homered to lead off the fourth inning to make it a one run-game.
- The Bulldogs answered with two runs for a three-run advantage before UAlbany ended the inning with a double play from Quinn and junior Mary Kate Murray.
- In the bottom of the fifth, the Great Danes held off a baserunner with a double play from Murray and sophomore Sara Scozzari.
- Parisi singled in the sixth and Scozzari reached on an error in the seventh but it wasn't enough the Bulldogs came away with the game-one win.

- Senior Kasey Conn, sophomore Kaitlyn Parisi, and Taylor Quinn each added two RBI.
- Conn (double) and Mary Kate Murray (triple) hit for extra bases.
- Freshman Julia Pike pitched her first collegiate complete game. After the first, Pike steadied and allowed no runs and walked no batters through six innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs started the scoring in the bottom of the first with three runs for an early lead.
- The Great Danes answered immediately with a three-run inning of their own in the top of the second.
- Junior Mary Kate Murray led off with a triple before she scored off Taylor Quinn's single.
- Quinn followed with a run on a throwing error, and senior Sara Anderson scored on a sac fly by freshman Sierra Roy.
- In the bottom of the second, Julia Pike struck out the Bulldogs' leadoff hitter before the defense retired the second and third.
- With both Kaitlyn Parisi and Julia Pike on base, Katie Parisi hit a two-RBI single to give UAlbany a 5-3 advantage in the top of the third.
- The Great Dane defense made it six consecutive batters retired in the bottom of the third.
- Both teams had players land on base in the fourth and fifth innings, but neither were able to bring anyone home.
- In the top of the sixth, the Great Danes extended their lead by two when sophomore Ava Beal and Quinn scored off a double by Kasey Conn.
- Seeing four batters, UAlbany continued to hold the Bulldogs at three runs through six innings.
- The Great Danes sealed Bryant's fate with a two-run Katie Parisi homer in the top and three retired batters in the bottom of the seventh.
