GAME ONE

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Two Great Danes tallied a hit in the first three innings before Mary Kate Murray put UAlbany on the scoreboard first with a home run to left field.
- ETSU answered with two runs in the top of the fifth and a third run in the sixth.
- Back-to-back singles from Kristina Langdon and Natasha Mendez proved fruitful as the Great Danes tied the score at three through six innings.
- The Buccaneers were able to score what proved to be the final run of the game in the top of the seventh. UAlbany attempted to come back but was unable to get on base in the second half of the inning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Katie Parisi doubled to left field in her first bat during the first inning.
- The Great Dane defense retired all six batters in the second and third innings.
- Parisi added her second double in the top of the fourth.
- In the fifth inning, Charlotte Lomb made it to second with a double to left field and redshirt-junior Gaelen Kelly got on base taking advantage of an error, but both were left on the bases.
- Presbyterian scored a run after two hits and a walk in the bottom of the fifth.
- Although the UAlbany defense did not allow any additional runs in the sixth, including a double play to end the inning, the batters were unable to get on base and Presbyterian took the one-run win.
NEXT: Sunday's game against Mercyhurst has been canceled due to weather. The Great Danes will return to action at the Make It Happen Games in Madeira Beach, Florida (Feb. 27-Mar. 1).
