HOW IT HAPPENED

- Dylana Williams added to the momentum with an unassisted strike, which was quickly followed by a free-position goal from Mikaela Mooney.
- Courtney Rowe found the back of the net off a smooth feed from Gracie McCauley before Williams scored her second of the game with another strong individual effort.
- Paisley Cook got in on the action with a solo goal of her own before the Wildcats broke through late in the quarter with a goal from Rose Pavuk to stop the run. Still, UAlbany carried a commanding lead into the second frame.
- The Great Danes opened the second with Rowe striking again, this time assisted by Poupard, then notched her third just two minutes later unassisted to complete her hat trick. Mooney scored her second free position goal of the day before UNH responded with a goal from Allie Connerty.
- Kloey Roos closed out the half strong for UAlbany, scoring twice in under 15 seconds - first on a free position and then off an assist from Cook - sending the Purple and Gold into halftime with all the momentum.
- Williams continued her strong outing, opening the third quarter with an unassisted goal just over a minute in.
- Roos followed up with her second of the afternoon, finishing a clean pass from Poupard to extend the Great Danes' lead.
- Connerty responded midway through the quarter with her second of the game, but Williams answered quickly with another solo effort - her fourth unassisted goal of the day.
- UAlbany closed the third with a special moment, as junior Delaney McManus recorded her first career goal off a feed from senior Courtney Rowe, giving the Great Danes momentum heading into the final frame.
- The scoring slowed in the fourth, but another milestone came for the Purple and Gold when Ravan Marsell found the back of the net for her first career goal, assisted by freshman Catrina Rowe, who notched her first collegiate point - back-to-back feeds by the Rowe sisters.
- Connerty added a late goal for the Wildcats in the final minute, but UAlbany held firm to secure the win and cap off an all-around team performance, 17-4.
