Head Coach Jon Mueller: "That was a gritty, tough finish to the weekend.  Thomas Quinn earned his second win of the weekend at the back end. We lost two leads but battled our way back once we got deep into their pen. A number of clutch hits and outings throughout."

• Christian Mello started the game for the Great Danes and Kyle Miller started on the mound for Longwood.
• The Danes started the game off fast, scoring five in the first, with an RBI single from Logan Morris, and Cooper Loyal and Michael Maggio each driving in two with singles of their own.
• Longwood responded in the second with a double from Mac Tufts that scored one.
• In the third inning, Cooper Loyal singled, scoring Victor Mazzara and making the score six to one.
• Joe Castrichini came in to pitch for Longwood in the top of the fourth inning.
• Alex Enea came in to pitch for UAlbany with one out in the bottom of the fourth.
• The Lancers then scored two in the fourth, cutting the Danes' lead down to three.
• In the sixth inning the Danes scored four, highlighted by a three-run blast by Levi McAllister.
• Longwood made the score ten to four after Mikey Urbaniak grounded out to the second baseman, scoring Myles Webb.
• Ethan Plesser came in to pitch for Longwood in the seventh inning.
• In the seventh, Carter Newman hit a two-RBI single, making the score ten to six.
• Cam Fuer then came in to pitch for UAlbany with two outs in the seventh.
• Longwood scored three more runs in the seventh, making the score ten to nine.
