Key Stat Lines
Head Coach Jon Mueller"Tough way to lose a game. We threw the ball well and had limited opportunities. Banner and the pen kept us close. Back at it tomorrow for game two."

 How it Happened:
  • Dylan Banner was given the start on the bump for the Great Danes. Gabe Driscoll started on the mound for the Bearcats.
  • With runners on second and third in the bottom of the first, Mike Gunning launched a three-run home run, giving Binghamton an early 3-0 advantage.
  • Luke Filippi and Ryan Ferremi hit back-to-back singles to start the fourth inning. John Vitucci capitalized with a double down the left field line to drive them in. UAlbany tied up the contest with a Luke Myers bunt single that allowed Vitucci to score from third, making it 3-3.
  • John Lumpinski was called in to pitch by the Bearcats in the fifth inning.
  • Binghamton brought Theo Farynick in to pitch in the seventh inning with a runner on second.
  • Michael DiMartino was brought in from the pen by the Great Danes in the bottom of the seventh.
  • With one out and a runner on second, Binghamton called on Chris Sleeper to pitch in the ninth inning.
  • In the bottom of the tenth, Steven Turk came in to pitch for UAlbany.
  • With two runners reaching on walks, the walk-off run came in to score on a ball to left field hit by Nick Roselli.
