How it Happened:
- Dylan Banner was given the start on the bump for the Great Danes. Gabe Driscoll started on the mound for the Bearcats.
- With runners on second and third in the bottom of the first, Mike Gunning launched a three-run home run, giving Binghamton an early 3-0 advantage.
- Luke Filippi and Ryan Ferremi hit back-to-back singles to start the fourth inning. John Vitucci capitalized with a double down the left field line to drive them in. UAlbany tied up the contest with a Luke Myers bunt single that allowed Vitucci to score from third, making it 3-3.
- John Lumpinski was called in to pitch by the Bearcats in the fifth inning.
- Binghamton brought Theo Farynick in to pitch in the seventh inning with a runner on second.
- Michael DiMartino was brought in from the pen by the Great Danes in the bottom of the seventh.
- With one out and a runner on second, Binghamton called on Chris Sleeper to pitch in the ninth inning.
