ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany men's lacrosse team and Head Coach Scott Marr have officially announced the program's 2025 season schedule. Additionally, season tickets for the 2025 slate are now on sale.
 
The reigning America East Champions are set to play seven games at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium this season as they look to defend their 10^th conference title.
 
Additionally, season tickets for the 2025 campaign are now officially on sale. Fans can purchase tickets online or by contacting the UAlbany Ticket Office by phone (518) 442-DANE or by email at GreatDaneTickets@albany.edu. Those looking to renew their packages can do so by visiting their Ticket Return online accounts.

"Once again we will challenge our team with another tremendously competitive non-conference slate, including a new face on the schedule in Georgetown and an old one in Cornell," said Marr. "With that said, our goal is to be competitive to put ourselves in a position to make the NCAA Tournament as an at-large selection or as the America East's automatic qualifier. We are more than excited for this challenge and what lies ahead in 2025!"
 
The season begins on Feb. 15 with a trip to Colgate before taking on Penn three days later with a neutral site matchup. The Great Danes then start their 2025 home campaign with three games in a row – hosting Drexel (Feb. 22), UMass (Mar. 1), and Georgetown (Mar. 5). The Hoyas will come to Casey Stadium as the defending Big East Champions, being named the No. 8 seed in the 2024 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships. Georgetown defeated Penn State in the First Round before falling to Notre Dame, the No. 1 seed and eventual National Champions. 
 
The Great Danes then hit the road for three straight road games at Hobart (Mar. 8), Bryant (Mar. 15), and Virginia (Mar. 18). The Cavaliers are the second team that made the 2024 Tournament that UAlbany will face in 2025, having made it all the way to the National Semifinals as the No. 6 seed a year ago.
 
The first America East games at Casey Stadium are set for Mar. 22 and Mar. 29 when UAlbany hosts UMBC and UMass Lowell in back-to-back games. The team then hits the road again for three games in April against Cornell (Apr. 1), Binghamton (Apr. 5), and Vermont (April 12) in a rematch of the 2024 America East Championship Game.
 
The 2025 regular season wraps up at home with matchups against Yale and NJIT on April 19 and 26. The rivalry with the Bulldogs continues as UAlbany looks to get back into the win column with the Ivy League competitor, who visits Albany for just the sixth time in matchup history.
