- Morgan Petty earned the first hit with a single through the left side in the top of the first inning.
- The River Hawks took a two-run lead before the first inning ended.
- The Great Dane defense held two runners on base to hold UML off in the second inning.
- A two-run homer extended UMass Lowell's lead after three innings.
- Sara Anderson hit UAlbany's second single to advance Petty to third in the top of the fourth.
- Sacrificing herself, Anderson was caught stealing after Petty scored the Great Danes' first run.
- A second two-run home run put the River Hawks up, 6-1, after four innings.
- Chloe Lewis answered for UAlbany with a ball over the left-field fence.
- Tallying three-straight outs, the Great Danes held UML at 6-2 when the fifth inning finished.
- Caitlyn Mitros added a single to open the sixth inning but the runner was left on base.
- UAlbany held off the River Hawk advance in the bottom of the sixth and left two runners on base.
- Maddi Petrella opened the seventh inning with a single but the Great Danes were unable to score and UMass Lowell took the 6-2 win.
