ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany Department of Athletics, in conjunction with the National Collegiate Athletics Association, have announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2023 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Quarterfinal Round hosted by UAlbany at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium.

UAlbany will host two quarterfinal games on Saturday, May 20 at 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm.  Tickets, sold as all-session, are available between $14 to $40 depending on seating location, and advanced parking is available online.  Parking will be $20 in the Dutch Lot and $40 in the SEFCU Lot.

UAlbany was originally awarded hosting privileges for one of the 2023 quarterfinal brackets on October 20, 2020, following the Department's track record of successfully hosting two First Round matches, in 2017 and 2018, and serving as a host facility for the Premier Lacrosse League in all three of the League's regularly-contested seasons.

In 2017, the Great Danes hosted North Carolina as an eight-seed in front of a crowd of 6,472 fans, setting a new record for NCAA First Round attendance.  The following season, when hosting Richmond in the First Round, the Great Danes kicked off their first-ever run to the Final Four in front of a crowd of 4,800.

In the last three fully-contested seasons, UAlbany has ranked seventh or higher in national attendance, averaging more than 2,000 fans per game in each of those seasons.  Attendance peaked during the 2018 season, when the Great Danes ranked fifth nationally, drawing nearly 2,700 fans to each of its 10 home contests.

In total, UAlbany has hosted eight NCAA Tournament events across its varsity sports offerings: three First Round games for men's lacrosse, one First Round FCS Playoff game for football, one Second Round game for men's soccer, one First & Second Round weekend for women's volleyball, and one play-in game for field hockey.
