Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team defeated Hartford, 7-5, in its series finale on Sunday afternoon, taking the three-game weekend series with the Hawks.
Connor Eisenmann pitched seven strong innings, allowing just one run and striking out eight. Catcher
Carson Dunkel led the Great Danes offensively with three RBIs.

- Cregg Scherrer started on the mound for the Great Danes, Ryan Dee started for the Hawks.
- Hartford jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first on two two-run singles. Noah Rivera drove in Derek Tenney and Logan Cole and Daniel Burnett drove in Rivera and Jake Santiago.
- UAlbany cut Hartford's lead to one run in the top of the second. Carson Dunkel scored John Daly with an RBI single up the middle, Will Binder's single through the right side brought home Josh Loeffler and Brad Malm hit a sac fly to left field, driving in Dunkel.
- Connor Eisenmann took the mound for UAlbany midway through the second inning.
- Hartford's Burnett hit a leadoff home run in the fourth, giving the Hawks a 5-3 advantage.
- Almanzar Jr. came in to pitch for Hartford halfway through the fifth.
- The Great Danes loaded up the bases in the fifth and took a 7-5 lead. Loeffler drew a walk and scored Michael Whalen, Daly and Will Feil crossed home on a two-RBI double by Dunkel and Jason Bottari hit a sac fly to center field, driving in Loeffler.
- In the ninth, Chase Carroll came in to close for the Great Danes.
