Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team dropped its final game against Stony Brook, losing the weekend series with the Seawolves.
Brad Malm homered twice and tied UAlbany's single-season home run record at 13, but the Great Danes fell 5-10 in their rubber game on Sunday afternoon.
Head Coach Jon Mueller: "We put ourselves in a hole with the free passes. If we can clean up the passes we will put ourselves in position to win series moving forward."

- Anthony Germinerio started on the mound for the Great Danes, Quinlan Montgomery started for the Seawolves.
- Stony Brook took the lead in the opening inning on a two-run double by Brett Paulsen, who drove in Shane Paradine and Evan Fox.
- Brad Malm made it a tie game in the top of the fourth with a two-run blast to right-center, also scoring Will Feil who singled.
- Stony Brook's Stanton Leuthner made it 2-3 when he scored on a passed ball.
- UAlbany grabbed its first lead of the afternoon in the top of the fifth off a two-run single by Michael Whalen. He drove in Will Binder who was hit by a pitch and Chris Fisher who walked to get on base.
- Josh O'Neill replaced Montgomery on the mound halfway through the fifth.
- The Seawolves retook the lead after a five-run sixth. David Alleva hit a two-run single, scoring Paulsen and Matt Brown-Eiring, Leuthner scored on a sac bunt by Matt Miceli and Fox doubled down the left field line to drive in Alleva and eventually scored himself on a fielding error to make it 8-4.
- Malm hit his second home run of the day and thirteenth of the year to make it a three-run game in the top of the seventh.
- Connor Eisenmann came in to pitch for UAlbany to start the bottom of the seventh.
- Stony Brook extended their lead to 9-4 in the seventh when Paulsen hit an RBI-double, scoring Brown-Eiring.
- Marshall Winn replaced Eisenmann on the mound in the eighth.
- The Seawolves added another run to their lead in the bottom of the eighth on an RBI-single by Paradine, bringing home Fox.
