Score Game 2: UAlbany 8, UMES 6
Location: Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury, Maryland
Records: UAlbany (3-3) | UMES (0-6)
Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team took both games of Saturday's doubleheader with UMES, winning 3-2 in game one and 8-6 in game two.
Coach Jon Mueller: "Certainly happy with the sweep. Germinerio was dominate without his best stuff. Manetta picked up a save and win and settled both games down at the back. McCaffrey did a nice job in the middle of game two as well. The second game we weren't as steady defensively, but the team battled back from multiple deficits before Malm's late game homer gave us our last lead. Looking forward to the finale tomorrow."
