Coach Jon Mueller: "Today we were able to get a number of guys in the games. I thought Scherrer and Eisenmann both had good starts on limited pitches. We lost a late lead in game one but the guys never quit all afternoon. We will now set our sights on the conference tournament."

How it Happened Game 1
- Maine's Shane Lawlor scored the game's first run when he hit a solo home run off of Cregg Scherrer to give the Black Bears a 1-0 lead in the second inning.
- The Black Bears added two more runs with an RBI triple and sacrifice fly in the fifth inning that gave Maine a 3-0 lead.
- UAlbany responded in the top of the sixth inning with a five-run rally. Brad Malm started the rally with an RBI double that drove in Will Feil. In the next at-bat, Johnny Marti hit a three-run home run that gave UAlbany its first lead of the game. Chase Carroll extended the lead with an RBI single that gave UAlbany a 5-3 lead.
- The sixth inning home run was Marti's third home run of the series and moved him to tied-fifth in the America East with his seventh of the season.
- Anthony Fusco entered in the bottom of the seventh to close the game but ran into trouble late. With a two-run lead and one runner on second with two outs, Fusco gave up three-straight hits.
- The Maine rally was capped off by a Connor Goodman walk-off two-run single up the middle that gave Maine an important 6-5 lead.
- With the win, combined with a Hartford 3-0 win over UMass Lowell, Maine stayed alive in postseason contention heading into the second game of the doubleheader.
How it Happened Game 2
- Maine caused trouble for UAlbany starter Connor Eisenmann early with at least two runners on base in the first two innings, but Eisenmann escaped both jams.
- In the third inning, the Black Bears broke through and took a 1-0 lead on an RBI groundout after Scout Knotts led the innings off with a triple.
- After a scoreless fourth, Maine added to the lead with a sacrifice fly and RBI single and took a 3-0 lead in the fifth inning.
- With a stolen base in the seventh inning, his second of the game, Jason Bottari moved to second place in UAlbany's single season stolen bases category with his 26th of the season. He is two shy of tying the record heading into the America East Championships.
- The Black Bears added one more run in the seventh inning on an error and took a 4-0 lead.
- After being held scoreless for eight innings, UAlbany started a ninth inning rally with back-to-back singles by Johnny Marti and Marc Wangenstein to lead off the inning. With one out, Chase Carroll hit a two-run double that cut the lead to 4-2.
- UAlbany was unable to score any more runs, as Maine secured its 4-2 victory. With the win, Maine needs Hartford to defeat UMass Lowell in the second game of their Saturday doubleheader to qualify for the America East Championships. If UMass Lowell wins, they will qualify.
