Short Story: Marc Wangenstein hit a walk-off single in game two after the bats came alive for a 23-run output, the team's most since 2016, in game one to secure a doubleheader sweep of Maine.

- Marc Wangenstein hit his 24th career home run and moved into sole possession of second place in program history.
- Cregg Scherrer (3-3) went four innings and allowed eight runs (seven earned) on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts.
- Jason Bottari went 4-for-4 with four runs scored, three RBIs and one walk.

How it Happened Game 1
- Maine jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the top of the first when Sean Lawlor hit a three-run home run. UAlbany trailed by three, but responded in the bottom half with nine runs.
- Johnny Marti hit a two-run single, followed by Marti and Josh Gurnack scoring on a throwing error as they took a 4-3 lead. Jason Bottari then followed by scoring on a wild pitch and Josh Salandy drove home Dolan Ocasal with a single.
- With a 6-3 lead, Marti added to the total with another two-run single and Brad Malm stole home on a successful double-steal attempt with Marti as the Great Danes took a 9-3 lead.
- In the second inning, Maine responded with a Jeff Mejia two-run home run to center field and cut the lead to 9-5. After a scoreless third inning, UAlbany broke the game open in the fourth and fifth innings.
- Maine cut the lead to 9-8 in the top of the fourth inning when they scored three runs, but UAlbany responded with five in the bottom half.
- Bottari hit an RBI infield single, before Marc Wangenstein hit a three-run home run that hit off the left field foul pole. Malm later drove in Will Feil as the Great Danes took a 14-8 lead.
- In the fifth inning, UAlbany added four more runs when Bottari scored on a wild pitch and John Daly hit a three-run home run to right center.
- With a commanding 18-8 lead after five innings, the Great Danes surrendered three runs when Quinn McDaniel hit a three-run double to cut the lead to 18-11.

How it Happened Game 2
- Maine started the scoring early with a Sean Lawlor RBI single in the first inning as they took a 1-0 lead. UAlbany responded in the second inning when Jason Bottari scored on a passed ball to tie the game 1-1.
- Both starting pitchers settled into a groove before Ryan Turenne drove in a run with his double in the fourth inning to give Maine a 2-1 lead.
- John Daly responded in the bottom of the fifth inning with a one-run double that tied the game 2-2. After the fifth inning, the game was paused for a rain delay.
- After a 50-minute rain delay, Rob Manetta entered the game after Kenny McLean exit with the bases loaded and no outs. Manetta was able to escape the jam by surrendering only one run as Maine took a 3-2 lead.
- Daly drove in his second run of the game on an RBI single through the left side that drove in Chris Fisher and tied the game 3-3.
- After three clean innings of relief from Manetta, Marc Wangenstein hit a walk-off single through the left side that drove home Johnny Marti and gave the Great Danes a 4-3 victory.
- The victory gave UAlbany a huge win as they moved back to .500 (13-13) in conference play.
