Short Story: The University at Albany track & field program wrapped up two days of competition at the Tyson Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Complex.

How It Happened

• Kiyah Owens placed 36th in the women's 400m in 57.22
  
• Jan Michael Gutierrez Almedina placed 26th in the 400m in 48.25
• Asia Jinks placed 28th in the women's 60 meter hurdles in 8.94
• Sidney Gibbons placed seventh in the men's 60 meter hurdles in 7.84
• Chidinma Matthew placed 16th in the women's 60m in 7.61
• David Carlson placed seventh in the men's weight throw in 61-09.00
• Gutierrez Almedina placed 22nd in the 200m in 21.50, fourth-fastest indoor mark in program history
• The women's 4x400 relay team of Asia Jinks, Jonel Lacey, Chidinma Matthew and Kiyah Owens ran a 3:42.55, marking the second fastest time in school history
  
• Shelby Bigsby placed 13th in the women's shot put in 45-01.00
• Devon Willis placed fifth in the men's triple jump invitational with a distance of 51-10.50, breaking the indoor school record he shared with Michael McCadney
