Short Story: Three track & field student-athletes stayed an extra day in Boston for one final opportunity to earn a postseason qualifying mark.

• Tara Belinsky won the women's shot put with a throw of 45-03.75
• David Carlson placed second in the men's weight throw with a mark of 62-05.25
• Kingsley Ogbonna won the men's high jump in 6-10.25
