UAlbany's Thompson Trio Featured on Front Page of The New York Times
New York Times Article - In a Native American Sport, a Family's Giant Leap
ALBANY, N.Y. – In Monday's edition of The New York Times, the Thompson trio of the UAlbany men's lacrosse team was featured in a front page article by Zach Schonbrun.
The article, titled “In a Native America Sport, a Family's Giant Leap,” features the three Thompsons, Lyle Thompson, Miles Thompson and Ty Thompson, talking about their path to UAlbany, their family and their heritage and how it features lacrosse.
Schonbrun's article also includes interviews from other members of the Thompson family, including Lyle and Miles's brothers and father, UAlbany coach Scott Marr and Inside Lacrosse's Casey Vock.
