A part of the UAlbany athletics department since 1996, Charlie Voelker works as the Associate Athletic Director of External Affairs, a post he has held since 2003.
He was formerly UAlbany's radio broadcaster from 1996 to 2002. He worked as the Director of Player Personnel, Flyball, Baseball Inc. from 2001-02 and was the Vice President and General Manager of Albany, Professional Baseball from 1996-2001. He also was in ad sales and marketing plus was a video producer at Time Warner Cable and the general manager of VIP Broadcasting.
Voelker holds a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy, as well as bachelors degree in Communication from UAlbany.
